Join Kids Ride MTB for a fun afternoon session at the brand new Carrboro Pumptrack at Martin Luther King Jr. Park! Opened in May 2025 and designed by the pros at Nature Trails, this new track is smooth, flowy, and perfect for riders of all skill levels.
Pumptrack Session: 4:00 – 6:00 PM
Location: Martin Luther King Jr. Park, 1120 Hillsborough Road
Pizza Hangout: 6:00 – 7:00 PM

All events are Ride at Your Own Risk. Mountain biking has inherent risks, and this is a ride at your own risk event. The organizers are not responsible for the safety or decisions made by each individual on the trail. All riders are strongly encouraged to ride within their abilities and take appropriate safety measures.
This is not a learn-to-ride event where the organizers teach kids to ride a two-wheel pedal bike. Instead, it is an opportunity for families to get outdoors and ride together with other families.
Organizers are not responsible for the safety of children on the trail. It is strongly recommended that families ride with the group or walk/run alongside their children to provide support as they progress.
No training wheels are permitted on mountain bike trails—balance bikes, mountain bikes, and proper safety gear are required.
