This park features a mix of easy and intermediate trails that make it perfect for beginners and intermediate riders alike. The main attraction at The Riveter is the pump track, which is perfect for kids to learn bike handling skills while having fun. The park also has pump tracks for more advanced riders and advanced jumps for experienced bikers.
2. Kolo Bike Park (Asheville Adventure Center)
With over 50 miles of bike trails, Kolo Bike Park is one of Asheville’s premier biking destinations. The park has trails ranging from easy to advanced, so there is something for everyone. Kolo Bike Park features a unique “along-the-river” trail, offering riders scenic views of the river and surrounding forests. The park also has a skills zone and a pump track for bikers of all skill levels. The park has a friendly and encouraging atmosphere that makes it perfect for kids who are just learning how to bike.

3. Berm Peak Bike Park
Berm Park is perfect for the family who has more advanced riders and who don’t mind a bit of a hike. Unlike the other bike parks, to get to the trails Flight Deck it is about 3/4 of a mile to get to the peak from the parking lot on Papertown Express. If you are up for the adventure, it is well worth the hike and ride to the top. Our boys, ages 3 + 5, love the trails Chain Whip and High Roller! With two kids in tow, we also slowly come back down Papertown Express to avoid more advanced riders coming down Bear Country.

4. Bent Creek Pump Track
We love that Bent Creek Community park is a free option in South Asheville for a morning or afternoon of biking. The pump track is perfect for both beginners to intermediate riders to have fun and work on new skills!
5. Richmond Hill Bike Park
This beginner-friendly bike park features easy trails that are perfect for younger riders or newbies to the sport. The park has two skills area lines that cater to riders of all skill levels. We also love to pick up tacos from White Duck Taco down the street or pack a picnic before heading out for a fun afternoon!
